We have 2 spacious rooms available in our clinic for one physician, for short to long-term opportunities. 

Our clinic manager has a growing patient waitlist, and we're situated in a busy, established neighbourhood (Midnapore) with over 7,000 people, although our drainage area for south-east Calgary has a population of over 40,000 people within a 12 km radius, many of whom do not have a regular family physician.

 

Patients drive to our clinic anywhere from south of Anderson Road, from Bridlewood in the west, to Mahogany in the east, and Okotoks in the south, although the entire region is expanding rapidly with the opening of the new branch of Calgary's ring road (22X/Stony Trail).

We're a member of the South Calgary Primacy Care Network, and use Med Access as our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software. If you've only ever used another EMR, Dr Anderton will train you on Med Access, and we can quickly get you registered and familiar with the layout, billing and consult functionality.

All investigations and specialist referrals are assisted and processed by our clinic manager, Melanie.

The clinic runs on a fee-for-service basis. Management fees start at the standard 70/30 split, but can be negotiated in the physician's favour, depending on circumstances and how long you join us for.

Locum opportunities are available as well, for between 1-5 days per week, Monday through Friday.

 

We're a smaller clinic with more flexibility, so we'll work with you to tailor-make a schedule that works for you within our clinic hours. We all spend more time at work than we do at home, and we've created a warm, welcoming environment for physicians, staff and patients alike, since we believe in quality of life, for all.
